About Attorney Azadeh Akbari

Azadeh Akbari is a skilled and compassionate family law attorney based in Illinois. She earned her undergraduate degree from Temple University in 2009 and her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2015. While in law school, she was recognized with multiple CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in areas such as Legal Writing IV, Trial Advocacy, Children & Divorce, and Family Law. She also externed with the Honorable Raul Vega in the post-decree domestic relations division of the Cook County courthouse, gaining invaluable insight into family court procedures.

Legal Experience & Professional Growth

After graduating, Azadeh worked for a top-ranked family law firm in Chicago for over three years. Her legal career has been marked by handling a wide range of family law matters including contested divorces, parenting disputes, complex asset divisions, and more. In 2018, she founded Akbari Law, Ltd., bringing a strategic, empathetic, and results-driven approach to each client’s legal needs.
