The rules governing an independent attorney directory, public and claimed profiles, account access, sponsored advertising, annual subscriptions, and legal rights.

Operator, scope and agreement

IranianLawyer.com (the “Site” or “Directory”) is operated by ZSany LLC (“ZSany,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern visitors, listed professionals, account holders, advertisers, and purchasers of services. Our Privacy Policy separately explains how we process personal information, and our Disclaimer provides additional information about the Directory.

Browsing public pages does not necessarily create an enforceable contract merely because these Terms are posted. When you affirmatively accept these Terms, create or claim an account through an applicable acceptance process, submit content under an accepted agreement, or purchase a service under an accepted order, you agree to these Terms to the extent enforceable under applicable law. Separate checkout disclosures and express authorization are required for recurring charges as applicable. If an accepted order expressly conflicts with these Terms regarding the purchased service, that order controls for that service, subject to applicable law.

Independent Directory and Advertising Platform

IranianLawyer.com operates as an independent attorney directory and advertising platform, not a lawyer referral service. Visitors independently search, compare, select, and contact lawyers serving the Iranian and Persian-speaking community using directory listings, locations, practice areas, and contact tools. ZSany does not practice law, provide legal advice, or select or recommend a particular attorney for an individual legal matter. Directory inclusion does not establish an employment, partnership, agency, or endorsement relationship between ZSany and a listed attorney. Current advertising options are described on the packages page.

The Site does not assess a visitor’s legal needs, negotiate attorney fees, conduct conflicts checks, handle client funds, share legal fees, or direct professional judgment. This description reflects how the Directory operates; the legal classification of any service depends on its actual activities and applicable law.

No attorney–client relationship; confidential information

Using the Directory, viewing a profile, submitting an inquiry, or contacting a listed attorney does not establish an attorney–client relationship with ZSany. Whether an attorney–client relationship is created with a listed professional depends on the applicable law and the attorney's own communications and engagement process. The Site is not an emergency service or legal deadline tracker.

Do not send confidential, privileged, medical, financial, immigration, or otherwise sensitive case details through general Directory forms. Contact the selected lawyer directly and confirm a suitable, secure channel before transmitting sensitive information. An inquiry does not guarantee a response or representation.

Community focus and professional eligibility

The Directory primarily serves individuals seeking legal professionals connected to, familiar with, or serving the Iranian community, including professionals who offer Farsi/Persian-language services. Professional applicants must accurately identify their practice authorization, locations, services, and professional contact information; comply with applicable professional-conduct and advertising rules; and meet other objective, published eligibility requirements. Self-reported Iranian-community affiliation, Farsi/Persian proficiency, and practice focus are not independently certified unless expressly described as such.

We may refuse an application or restrict a listing for demonstrable eligibility failures, fraud, misleading information, sanctions restrictions, technical limitations, or other lawful operational reasons. We administer eligibility and account decisions subject to applicable nondiscrimination and public-accommodation requirements. Visitors do not need to have any particular ancestry or language ability to use public search tools. We do not promise to independently confirm ethnicity or ancestry.

Accounts, activation and authorization

Accounts may be created by an attorney, an authorized representative, or ZSany using available professional contact information. When ZSany creates an account, we may email an activation or password-reset link to the professional contact address. Receiving an email and logging in establishes access to that account; by itself it is not conclusive proof of identity, authorization, or bar licensure. An individual claiming or managing a listing must be the named professional or a person authorized to act for that professional, and must provide accurate information when requested.

We may require confirmation of control, professional-email association, authorization, or additional documentation before granting management privileges or an account-verification badge. Account holders must keep credentials secure, use reasonable safeguards, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. ZSany may revoke access pending an ownership dispute or security investigation.

Blue verification badge—limited meaning

A blue checkmark indicates that a profile-management account associated with the listed professional has been activated through our email-link/password-setting process, allowing a person with access to that account—including the lawyer or someone acting on behalf of the lawyer's firm—to sign in and manage the listing. Account holders can request or make profile updates through the client panel, subject to the content-review rules described below.

The badge indicates activated profile-management access. It does not independently verify the named lawyer's personal identity, a user's authorization to represent the lawyer, bar admission, license status, disciplinary standing, specialization, experience, language fluency, or quality of services. We may require additional documentation or restrict access where an account-control dispute or credible concern arises. The badge is not an endorsement or professional credential.

Professional profiles, sources and unclaimed listings

We may assemble or publish professional business information obtained from lawyers, authorized representatives, official regulator directories, law-firm websites, and other publicly accessible professional sources, where lawful. A profile may be publicly visible before the professional has claimed or approved it. Such an unclaimed profile does not mean the attorney created the listing, consented to publication, endorsed the Site, or purchased advertising. Source material may be out of date or incorrect.

We encourage lawyers to claim, review, and correct their profiles and may seek advance permission before preparing or publishing a profile. Professionals or authorized representatives may request correction, account-ownership review, or removal through the contact form. We evaluate requests under applicable law, contractual rights, legitimate business purposes, and reasonable fraud-prevention procedures. Public availability of information does not necessarily authorize every use or disclosure.

Profile accuracy, professional licensing and languages

Profile details may include English and Farsi names and biographies, country/state/city, office or mobile phone, WhatsApp, email, professional websites and social links, maps, languages, practice areas, and licensing details where provided. Attorneys and authorized profile managers are responsible for the accuracy and lawful publication of their submitted claims and must promptly correct material changes. A practice-category label does not establish specialist accreditation or certification; a language field may be self-reported.

We may compare professional information against publicly available records and use AI-assisted tools for drafting and editorial checks. These are not continuous or comprehensive credential verification services. Visitors should consult the applicable bar association or professional regulator to confirm licensing, standing, disciplinary information, and authority to practice in a particular jurisdiction before hiring a lawyer.

Publishing, editing and review procedures

Account holders can access their client panel to edit or update eligible professional listing information. Changes submitted from some new accounts may enter a pending-review queue; routine changes from established published accounts may become visible without prior manual approval. Submission does not constitute ZSany's approval of the accuracy or legality of the content.

We may review, hold, correct, revert, restrict, or remove content that appears unauthorized, misleading, unlawful, or insecure. Changes to identity, professional licensing, office or contact routing, authorization, specialization, or ownership of a listing may require further documentation or review. Account holders remain responsible for promptly correcting inaccurate information. We do not guarantee prepublication review of every change.

Limited premium inventory; geography

Purchased priority is limited to the confirmed market, term, and placement type; it does not confer exclusivity over all lawyers in an area, all categories, third-party search results, or unrelated advertising. We will not knowingly sell conflicting contractual priority to overlapping advertisers for the same inventory and active term. If technical errors or legal restrictions prevent material contracted placement, we will address them in accordance with the applicable order and law.

Plans, orders, prices and promotional comparisons

Historical or struck-through prices, when shown in advertising, represent former prices only if substantiated and not misleading under applicable law; they are not guaranteed valuations or promises of future pricing. Promotional videos, social posts, homepage boosts, badges, category inclusion, and additional services are included only when expressly described in the accepted order.

Annual automatic renewal and affirmative authorization

Unless the accepted order provides otherwise, paid subscriptions are for one year. A paid subscription renews automatically for successive one-year terms only where recurring billing has been authorized at enrollment. Before enrollment, the checkout discloses the recurring amount and billing frequency, material conditions, and cancellation method and obtains the authorization required by applicable law. Payments and renewals are processed using Stripe. Material price changes and renewal notices are communicated when required by law or the accepted order.

A subscriber can prevent future renewal using the client-panel cancellation option or through the contact form, as explained below. A general link to these Terms is not a substitute for any separately required recurring-payment consent.

Cancellation, expiry, inventory release and downgrade

Subscribers may cancel an annual subscription's future automatic renewal at any time before the next renewal payment is processed by using the cancellation option in their client panel or through the contact form. We do not impose a contractual 30-day advance cancellation deadline. For email cancellation, include the account email address and the subscription or listing name so we can identify the subscription. A cancellation request received before the renewal charge is processed will be treated as timely, even if our administrative processing occurs later. We may reasonably verify authority to prevent unauthorized account changes.

Refunds, service failures and payment disputes

Paid subscription charges are generally nonrefundable for a current annual term, except where required by applicable law, stated in an accepted offer, or justified by a duplicate or unauthorized charge or material failure to deliver a purchased contractual benefit. If we materially fail to provide a contracted placement, please use the contact form so we can investigate and provide an appropriate lawful remedy, which may include restoration of service, a reasonable extension, or a refund as required by law or agreement.

A timely cancellation request submitted before renewal is not treated as ineffective merely because ZSany processes it after the renewal charge. Nothing in this policy waives nonwaivable statutory rights, legally available chargebacks, or claims arising from fraud or unauthorized payment.

Stripe, taxes and failed payments

We use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe may separately collect and process payment-card and billing details subject to its terms and privacy notices. We may receive transaction identifiers, billing data, payment status, and limited card metadata for accounting, support, fraud prevention, and subscription management. Applicable taxes and invoice details will be disclosed as legally required.

If a charge fails, we may notify the account holder, retry processing as disclosed, and suspend or downgrade premium benefits after any legally required notice or cure opportunity. No failed-payment provision authorizes a charge that was not validly agreed.

No guarantee of leads, search rankings or outcomes

We do not guarantee visitors, lead volume, consultations, clients, revenue, return on advertising spend, Google search placement, AI-answer citations, search indexing, or continued third-party distribution. Testimonials, SEO descriptions, and performance illustrations are not enforceable guarantees unless an accepted order expressly says otherwise. Our duty to provide specific purchased on-Site positions remains subject to the accepted order and lawful remedies for nonperformance.

Visitor inquiries and direct attorney communications

Where a lawyer elects to enable an inquiry form, visitors may send a message to that selected professional. A visitor may also independently contact the professional using published phone numbers, WhatsApp, email, websites, or social links. We may technically process or transmit communications, and retention depends on the actual platform configuration described in the Privacy Policy. We do not promise to screen communications or ensure delivery, confidentiality, attorney availability, response, or acceptance of representation.

The receiving attorney, not ZSany, is responsible for conflicts checks, confidentiality obligations, engagement terms, fees, advice, legal service performance, and communications outside the Directory. We do not route visitors automatically to a particular lawyer based solely on paid priority as a personalized legal recommendation.

Testimonials, ratings and endorsements

Premium packages do not include purchased five-star ratings or quality scores. If we publish testimonials, reviews, or endorsements regarding the Directory or professionals, we may require authenticity, material-connection disclosures, confidentiality safeguards, and compliance with applicable advertising and consumer-review rules. We prohibit fabricated, purchased-sentiment, impersonated, or materially misleading content. We may review and remove content as reasonably necessary and are not obligated to publish every submission.

A quotation or success story about an attorney does not guarantee a comparable result. Advertisers remain responsible for their own advertising approvals and required disclaimers.

Content submission, rights and publicity

Users retain ownership of content they lawfully submit. By submitting material to a professional profile or advertising program, the submitter represents that they have the authority and intellectual-property or privacy rights needed to provide it, and grants ZSany a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, edit for format, translate when authorized, publicly display, transmit, and promote that material as reasonably necessary to operate the Directory and perform the accepted service, subject to applicable law and termination rights.

Do not upload confidential client information, photos without permission, infringing biographies, or unapproved testimonials. Our use of independently sourced material remains subject to applicable law and applicable third-party rights. We do not claim ownership of a lawyer's preexisting logos, photos, or original biographical works merely because they appear in the Directory.

Platform intellectual property and permitted access

ZSany or its licensors own the Site's original code, layout, interface elements, trademarks, branding, and original content. We grant a limited, nonexclusive, revocable permission to browse the Site and manage authorized accounts for lawful purposes. Except to the extent protected by law, you may not copy substantial databases, automate bulk extraction, impersonate accounts, interfere with site infrastructure, bypass security, or republish Directory content commercially without authorization.

Acceptable use, security and prohibited conduct

Users must not submit materially inaccurate credentials or advertising; impersonate attorneys; claim another person's profile without authority; post defamatory or unlawful material; publish sensitive case details; harvest contact data for spam; distribute malware; disrupt the Site; evade access restrictions; or use the Directory in violation of sanctions, privacy, consumer protection, intellectual-property, or professional rules. Report unauthorized account access or a suspected security issue through the contact form.

We may take proportionate preventative measures, consistent with applicable law, to address suspected fraud, abuse, security problems, or violations.

Moderation, removal, suspension and appeals

We may reject, correct, temporarily restrict, suspend, or remove accounts, content, badges, and advertising for reasonable and lawful grounds, including identity or licensing concerns, misleading claims, violations of professional standards, infringement, nonpayment, sanctions compliance, abuse, privacy requests, or threats to the Site. When appropriate, we may request documentation, give notice, and allow an account holder to contest or correct a decision.

We will consider the paid subscriber's accepted order, applicable law, and rights to remedies before determining the effect of an interruption on prepaid fees. A verification badge or paid package does not exempt an account from lawful moderation.

International availability and sanctions

The Directory may display professionals in countries outside the United States and Canada. We may restrict listings, advertising, payments, and services where legally necessary or commercially appropriate, including under U.S. sanctions and export controls. Restrictions are based on applicable laws and transactions, not merely an individual's Iranian ethnicity or heritage. Availability of a profile in a country does not promise authorization to conduct business or practice law there.

Third parties and external destinations

The Site may link to official bar records, law-firm websites, WhatsApp, social networks, maps, payment processors, and third-party resources. Such services are controlled by independent parties and governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Links do not necessarily indicate approval, verification, or endorsement. We are not responsible for independent professional services or third-party website content to the extent permitted by law.

Privacy, transactional notices and marketing

We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Public listings may be indexed or cached by third-party services, and the removal of a listing from our Site does not guarantee deletion from independent search engines, attorney inboxes, or external platforms.

As our general retention policy, ordinary deleted profile data and nonessential account information are removed or de-identified within 90 days after approved removal or closure, and routine Site-controlled inquiry records, technical logs, and rolling backups generally follow 90-day schedules. Necessary account-access and change records may be kept during the account's activity and ordinarily for up to one year after closure. Material financial and tax records generally follow a seven-year internal retention period, or longer when applicable law requires. Subscription authorization and cancellation records may have their own lawful evidentiary retention period. These periods are subject to the category-specific exceptions and rights explained in the Privacy Policy; valid legal requests may require earlier action.

We may send necessary account, security, billing, cancellation, and service notices. Marketing communications are subject to applicable consent, identification, and unsubscribe requirements. Individuals may opt out of promotional communications through the mechanisms provided.

Copyright, trademark and impersonation complaints

use the contact form with the location of allegedly infringing material, proof of ownership or authority, a description of the issue, and relevant contact information. We may investigate and remove or restrict material as legally appropriate. A valid DMCA notice requires the elements specified by applicable law; if ZSany seeks DMCA safe-harbor protection for hosted user content, the required designated agent and repeat-infringer procedures must be separately implemented. General email support is not a substitute for a legally required DMCA registration.

Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SITE AND GENERAL DIRECTORY INFORMATION ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT ALL PROFILE INFORMATION IS CURRENT, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR A PARTICULAR LEGAL MATTER OR THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR SECURE FROM EVERY THREAT. THIS SECTION DOES NOT DISCLAIM EXPRESS BENEFITS PROMISED IN AN ACCEPTED PURCHASE ORDER OR WARRANTIES AND RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LEGALLY BE EXCLUDED.

Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT LEGALLY PERMITTED, ZSANY IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR LOST-PROFIT DAMAGES ARISING FROM GENERAL USE OF THE DIRECTORY OR ITS SERVICES. FOR CLAIMS TO WHICH A CONTRACTUAL LIABILITY CAP LAWFULLY APPLIES, ZSANY'S AGGREGATE DIRECT LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) US $100 OR (B) THE FEES ACTUALLY PAID TO ZSANY FOR THE SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

THE EXCLUSIONS AND CAP DO NOT APPLY TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY LAW, INCLUDING TO FRAUD, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, NONWAIVABLE STATUTORY RIGHTS, OR REMEDIES THAT AN EXPRESS WRITTEN ORDER OR LAW REQUIRES. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS PURPORTS TO LIMIT LIABILITY FOR A LAWYER'S OWN SERVICES BY MEANS OF AN AGREEMENT WITH ZSANY.

Commercial account-holder indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, professional account holders and commercial advertisers agree to defend and indemnify ZSany against reasonable third-party claims, damages, and costs arising from their unlawful submissions, false professional representations, unauthorized use of content, professional-service conduct, or material breach of these Terms. This obligation does not extend to losses caused by ZSany's own unlawful conduct or to rights that cannot be legally waived. ZSany will provide reasonable notice of covered claims and cooperate as appropriate regarding defense and settlement.

Washington law; disputes and mandatory rights

These Terms are governed by Washington State law, excluding conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent mandatory rules of another jurisdiction apply. Subject to nonwaivable consumer rights and mandatory venue or jurisdiction rules, disputes may be filed in competent state or federal courts in Washington. Parties may first use the contact form to attempt informal resolution, without waiving deadlines or the right to lawful relief. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.

Changes, termination, severability and contact

We may update these Terms prospectively, with notice or renewed acceptance where required. Changes will not retroactively remove material benefits of an already-paid order except as permitted by law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to the extent allowed by law. Failure to enforce a provision does not waive future enforcement. Provisions concerning accrued charges, intellectual property, lawful limitations, and disputes survive where applicable. Terms of Use
