About Attorney

Attorney Mazi Mazloom is a respected criminal defense attorney based in Marietta, Georgia, and the founder of the Mazloom Law Firm. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Georgia State University and his Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta. He also completed advanced Trial Advocacy training at the National Advocacy Center in South Carolina. Mr. Mazloom was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1998 and initially practiced in consumer bankruptcy (Chapters 7 and 13), personal injury, immigration, and criminal defense. His legal skills and commitment to justice led to a historic appointment by the Honorable Barry E. Morgan as Assistant Solicitor General, making him the first Iranian-American prosecutor in Georgia. In this role, he prosecuted thousands of misdemeanors, traffic violations, and DUI cases in Cobb County. He was later appointed Assistant District Attorney by the Honorable Patrick H. Head, where he handled felony cases in the Superior Courts of Cobb County on behalf of the State of Georgia.
