A Colorado native, Sahar earned her J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law, where she was awarded the CBA/DBA Diversity in the Legal Profession Scholarship and was named Outstanding Asian Pacific American Law Graduate. She also holds a Master's Degree in International Studies with a focus on Development and Human Rights from the University of Denver, where she previously graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and International Studies.
